Buffy the Vampire Slayer Complete Series

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is in a serialized arrangement in which each and every episode comprises of a self-contained story, at the same time contributing to a larger storyline. This big storyline is categorised into season-long narratives which find the rise and fall of a powerful villain called the “Big Bad.” 

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Complete Series contains a combination of different genres. It includes horror, drama, romance, comedy, melodrama, science fiction, martial arts, farce, and in one episode, a musical comedy. 

Buffy series’ story revolves Buffy and her pals which are called as the Scooby Gang. These people have a hard time balancing their complex social lives and battling with supernatural evils. The show normally has a storyline that is good for a season and with a villain of the week format. However, an episode usually has one or more villains, or a supernatural phenomenon, which are eventually defeated at the end of the episode. There are also elements and relationships added as well as ongoing subplots. But generally, the show focuses on Buffy as an archetypal heroine. 

In Buffy the Vampire Slayer Complete Series, the most featured villains are vampires specifically in the first seasons. Vampires which are based on traditional myths, folklore, and literary conventions. And as the series goes on, Buffy and her buddies fight several kinds of demons, zombies, werewolves, ghosts, deceitful humans, and many more. 

Buffy and her companions most of the time rescue the world from devastation and annihilation. They do it by a combination of physical combat, detective style investigation, and magic. They are also guided by a detailed collection of ancient and mystical reference books. Buffy and Angel are very good in undertaking hand-to-hand combat, that is later followed by Spike and soon by Giles and Xander to a lesser degree. Giles has a big contribution through his knowledge of demonology and supernatural lore. While Willow becomes an good witch in the end.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Complete Series has every season comprises of 22 episodes. Between 1997 and 2003, there are a total of 144 Buffy episodes out of the seven seasons, not including the unaired Buffy pilot episode.
