If you are fond of classical and rhythm and blues music genre, then there is one old music artist that you will never miss. With his sentimental words and attractive voice, paul mccartney has made a mark on the music industry leaving so many fans not only entertained but also educated by his lyrical music words. He is one of the old musicians who never new he will succeed in music because while studying he had other things in mind. Paul’s advancement to music might have been inspired by his father who was a trumpet player and pianist. Born in Liverpool in January 4th 1944, Paul was a bright student at school and passed his primary level exams well to join a grammar school. It is from this grammar school that he made with his friend George Harrison who was also very inspirational to his career. Paul performed with a group called the Beatles which helped him so much in shaping his name as a musician and also enabled help become famous. He was in the group between the 70s but later on he broke up with the group and went solo with his new band called the Wings. It did well after its inception and he got many invitations to perform during concerts and festivities. Within the time, Paul’s musical work was very recognized and this was even quoted in the Guinness book of record naming him as one the most successful musicians and composer of very wonderful film songs. Some of the songs that have done wonderfully well includes, “I lost my girl” and the “Spanish guitar”. These songs sold thousands of albums and catapulted Paul to the forefront. He is voted as being the only artist who reached number one in the UK single soloist singers. This is a great achievement to him considering the other achievement that he has already realized in his work.

Laura Story is an American Worship leader and musician. She was born in 1978 in Spartanburg, South Carolina. It wasn’t until she started attending Columbia Inernational University in South Carolina that she realized that music career might be something long term and where she might end up. She met Shane Williams from the band Silers Bald. Shane invited Laura to start playing bass guitar in his band because he was lacking a member. Story did join Shane and even released four albums with the band. In 2000 her manager told her to go solo because she was a potential hit. She did listen to the advice and left the Silers Bald. It turned out that wasn’t a bad idea because in 2002 she released Indescribable album. The album itself wasn’t a top chart thing but the title song Indescribable was. It was used on Chris Tomlin Arriving album in 2004 and received worldwide attention. The song was also used in Avalons WOW Worship 2006 album. In 2005 Story released There Is Nothing, three years later Great God Who Saves and the latest one Blessings which was released in May of this year (2011).  

About BlessingsSoon after Laura got married to a known athlete he was diagnosed with a tumor. The mediacal situation put a young couple onto a real test of faith the both presented through their lives and careers. “Why tumor? Why me?” would be a common question of everyone. The outstanding stately home Kentchurch Court, was formerly a 14th century castle. It is situated in Herefordshire in the United Kingdom. This famous property sits in a huge five thousand acre estate with an ancient deer park and crosses the border of both England and Wales.

The property has featured in several films in the past. The Channel 4 reality television series ‘Regency House Party’ was filmed in Kentchurch Court in 2003. In preparation for filming the house was extensively refurbished . 25 rooms were redesigned and fitted in the different styles of the Regency period at an estimated cost of £250,000 in exchange for the use of the house. The overwhelming responsibility of packing up the house prior to0 refurbishment took ten weeks and a total of 3 miles of bubble wrap! In 2011 Kentchurch Court was featured in an episode of the Channel 4 series ‘Country House Rescue’.The original house at Kentchurch dates back to the 11th century and is Grade 1 listed building, it is the ancestral home of the Scudamore family and remarkably it has continued to be handed down through a number of generations of the family for almost 1000 years. The present house was renovated by John Nash in 1795 in the Gothic revival style, is now regarded as one of the greatest important historic houses, remaining in the entire UK.

Kentchurch Court is still a family home and is now owned and run by Jan Lucas-Scudamore and her family, at a later date it will be owned by her son. Although it is still a family home and estate, Kentchurch Court and the delightful Gardens are available for visits members of the public on certain days through the year and the garden is in the National Garden Scheme.The deer park at Kentchurch holds around 250 The Knights Templar originally owned this spot and in the past it was used as a Royal hunting ground. The Scudamore family have owned this piece of land since they purchased it from the Knights Hospitallers of Dinmore nearly five hundred years ago. The deer park has a number of ancient trees including ancient Yew, Maple and Sweet Chestnut. You can arrange a visit to this park by prior arrangement.The twenty five acre gardens have been extensively developed since 1815 when the house was occupied by John Lucy Scudamore who arranged for the gardens to be landscaped in the picturesque style, which was the height of fashion during that period. Despite the subsequent development since that time, this style is still evident today.

The fantastic mature apple orchard wows visitors with a brilliant display of colour when its under planted flowers come into bloom through the year. The vegetable garden provides yet another pretty show of colour with its flowering climbers which are grown on many supporting frames within the area to promote pollination.
