I am more and more interested in rock music, particular that of the psychedelic 1960′s. My hippie friend recently showed me some Woodtock photos, which he still keeps to remind him of his participation of this famous music festival. These pictures are an indication of the number of people who appreciate the peaceful and loving vibes of bands like Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Cocker, Jefferson Airplane, the Grateful Dead and so many more I am not mentioning. I understand that there are individuals who associate psychedelic rock music with sex and drugs. This is actually a misconception that’s been there since the roaring 1920′s, much before the Vietnam War. But I do not think this has to remain this way. People must understand that if someone loves peace, love and music, this does not necessarily mean he’s into illegal drugs or random sex with strangers.
